Diana Dalbotten

Diana Dalbotten is the Diversity Director for the National Center for Earth-Surface Dynamics and has extensive experience building partnerships in Native communities through gidakiimanaaniwigamig (“Our Earth Lodge” in Anishinaabe) which provides summer camps and year-round after-school programming for 6th through 8th grade students from the Fond du Lac Reservation and surrounding areas.
She is also a co-PI on the NSF-funded Manoomin program. Manoomin enagages native students in investigating core samples from the bottoms of six lakes on the Fond du Lac Reservation to reconstruct the historical distribution and abundance of wild rice on the Fond du Lac Reservation
